Spanish broadcaster Antena 3 uses the 4071 miniature omnidirectional condenser microphone and the 4080 cardioid lavalier microphone in its news broadcasts. It has also trusted DPA to equip the microphones in different studios and outdoors with a significant acquisition of 4071 microphones in addition to several 4088 cardioid headsets.

The Spanish broadcaster Antena 3 Televisión has equipped its news programs with DPA Miniature microphones, as well as several studios and sets with miniatures and headbands. In the case of Antena 3 Noticias, the chosen buses are the 4071 and the Lavalier 4080.

The 4071 is a miniature omnidirectional condenser microphone designed for television and film production. Chosen by this chain for its frequency response, it is specially tuned to offer maximum clarity, both in body-mounted and hidden systems, and has a low-frequency filter and a presence enhancer.

As for the 4080, it was the cardioid chosen because it is the lightest and smallest of the Lavalier microphones. At just 30mm in length and 15g in weight, the 4080 creates a new standard of sound in a compact design that professionals will appreciate for its lightness and superb speech reproduction. Thanks to its practical and flexible fixing system, the DPA lavalier microphone can be oriented in any direction and can be placed on shirts with buttons on the right or left.

DPA in other studies

After equipping the set Antena3 News, the Spanish channel has once again trusted DPA to equip the microphones in different studios and outdoors with an important acquisition of 4071 microphones in addition to several 4088 cardioid headsets.

The 4088 is a cardioid headset microphone designed for the most acoustically demanding live applications. This microphone easily solves the challenges posed by high sound pressure events, where feedback represents a serious threat. Its sound is open, clear and natural and does not require equalization. The capsule is hidden in a small and very light receptacle. The bass response has been designed to offer optimal linearity 2-3 centimeters from the sound source. This means that the attenuation of low frequencies will be greater the greater the distance - a factor of the utmost importance when it comes to eliminating background noise and preventing feedback.
