Secuoya Content Group - La 7

This April marks 10 years since Secuoya Content Group assume the delegated management of The 7, regional television of the Region of Murcia that, in the company's words, has shown that it is possible to offer a “quality, responsible and sustainable” public service with a “rigorous and transparent” use of public money.

In the time that Secuoya has been placed in front of The 7, always after various awards and public contests, regional television has gone from a screen quota of 0,6% to become the preferred medium for Murcians to inform and entertain themselves, surpassing andl 3% of share and becoming a model like the most efficient regional television in terms of cost per audience point. He has done it with a consolidated staff of more than 100 professionals with an indefinite contract and a network of more than 30 regional production companies actively collaborating.

Secuoya Content Group, hand in hand with The 7, has also played a decisive role as a promoter of local talent through the FOE, which this year will finance 14 new projects with 760,000 euros of investment. With more than 10 films, 30 documentaries and short films carried out in these years, the chain continues to reaffirm its commitment to the audiovisual industry with a Murcian seal. Among the most recent big bets, stands out Deaf, a feature film by Murcians Eva Libertad and Nuria Muñoz, which has the participation of La 7, and which has triumphed in the latest editions of Berlinale and the Malaga Festival.

Secuoya Content Group afirma to feel “deeply proud of these ten years of management.” “We have shown that it is possible to offer a quality public service without extra costs, with exemplary administration of public resources and firmly betting on the development of the audiovisual sector in the Region of Murcia,” he remarks.
