United and NEP list Eurovision 2021 production highlights

Once again, the Eurovision Song Contest will be produced by United e NEP. The 2021 edition of the festival will be held at the Rotterdam Ahoy pavilion from May 18-22.

Both companies are commissioned by NOS to handle the multi-camera production of the two semi-finals and the final, including the set-up of all technical facilities, equipment and material. In charge of the overall production of the event, that will be watched by 200 million viewers, are NPO, NOS, AVrotros e EBU.

Ralf van Vegten, Managing Director of NEP, is proud to be in charge of this significant event for the European public, while confirming that he will manage the production of graphics and augmented reality: “Eurovision is of unknown scale, complexity and range, so we’re very honored to be involved again. NEP also develops and delivers the graphics and AR elements, which are being controlled by our own software and crew.”
