Zero Density - NAB 2022 - IBC 2022

Presentations of RealityHub 1.4 and Reality 5, demos from a virtual studio and keynotes are the three main pillars of Zero Density at IBC 2022.

Much of Zero Density’s programming for IBC 2022 will be organised around a 5 x 6 x 3 metre chroma and a 5 x 3 metre LED virtual production stage. In this setting, beyond allowing anyone to put into practice the same Zero Density solutions used by Fox Sports, BBC e The Weather Channel, it will allow the company’s technical experts to demonstrate their virtual studio, augmented reality and virtual XR production capabilities on an end-to-end 4K ST2110 IP 4K workflow every half hour.

In parallel, the stage will host sessions with several speakers. Thibault Baras, head of media solutions at Dreamwall, will present how he produces different sports content with Zero Density’s Reality solution on 10 and 11 September at 11:00. The second speaker will be Felix Moschau, product manager at KST, who will explain how end-to-end IP production can be realised with Cambot, Reality and Kairos each day at 14:00.

In addition to these demos and presentations, the Zero Density team will unveil at IBC 2022 the latest enhancements to RealityHub 1.4 (a universal control user interface that allows broadcasters to control virtual studios from a web browser), and Reality 5, which is a real-time virtual studio and AR/XR platform based on Unreal Engine 5.

Ulaş Kaçmaz, VP of sales and marketing at Zero Density, sums up the main reasons why IBC 2022 attendees should stop by the company’s booth (beyond the Happy Hour, taking place on 9 and 11 September at 17:00): “Whether you’re interested in augmented reality, virtual production or XR, having the right tools can make a huge difference to the final picture. At this year’s IBC, we’ll not only announce new hardware and software releases, we’ll also show how our battle-tested ecosystem of products can allow broadcasters to build new immersive experiences.”
