NDI - Vizrt - Daniel Nergard

É (Visualizar) will continue to take steps to consolidate its position as the de facto standard for IP connectivity under the leadership of Daniel Nergård, who assumes new challenges at the top of the Norwegian company after serving as chief revenue officer of Vizrt.

Nergård will have as main lines of his leadership the objective of continuing to support the growth of NDI, achieving its adoption in the devices of the main broadcast and Pro-AV market solutions, and deepening the ecosystem of software (proprietary and external) surrounding the solution.

The new president of É, who beyond holding the position of CRO in Visualizar has worked in the management of business initiatives in the world of software in all types of segments, thus conveys his vision on the current state of the protocol and its range of derivative solutions: “NDI is leading in video connectivity technology, as both flexibility and ease of use have become the standard in the various industries we serve. After a few years of watching NDI’s growth, I am excited to lead this team into its next phase. We envision a significant expansion into diverse devices and various market segments, driven by the increasing demand from our partners and the user community. Our commitment to investing in and supporting our valued partners and users within the expanding ecosystem remains our top priority.”

Michael Hallén, NDI board member and CEO of Vizrt, relies on Nergård to help the brand achieve all of its ambitious goals: “In 2023, NDI achieved remarkable acceleration, witnessing a 130% surge in the number of new NDI Advanced licensees. Daniel’s extensive background will contribute significantly to further increase the rate of adoption while expanding NDI’s technology capabilities.”
