Limecraft Flow now allows content packaging and delivery

The Limecraft Flow platform for film and TV content production is being revamped to open up to distribution.

Over the past 24 months, Limecraft has seen tremendous growth due to its cloud native approach. Responding to key customer demands, the company has upgraded its Flow platform to also serve as a master repository and platform for automated formatting and delivery execution.

A completely new encoding process offers a range of new output formats, including scaling and cropping options, watermarking, and colour and volume corrections. In addition, multi-channel audio and audio channel layout settings allow producers to create and manage different versions such as stereo, surround sound or custom audio settings. In addition, they can qualify the different audio channels according to the nature or language of the audio, including but not limited to loudness, codec and bit rates.

Limecraft also specialises in accurate automatic transcription, which makes content more likely to be retrieved by search engines and better ranked by recommendation engines. For the new version of Flow, the company has included specific enhancements for several minority languages. These automated subtitling options allow producers to define and use different style and timing characteristics for subtitles according to the specifications of the distribution channel, and then automatically create different versions of the content accordingly.
