Yamaha launches in prolight + sound its new digital consoles ql1 and ql5

Created to offer the highest audio quality with great processing power and the high flexibility of the popular CL series but with small size, the new consoles are designed for smaller -scale productions.

Within the framework of Prolight + Sound 2014, which takes place until March 15 at Frankfurt Messe, Yamaha It is presenting its new Digital consoles QL1 and QL5. Created to offer the highest audio quality with great processing power and the high flexibility of the popular CL series but with small size, the new consoles are designed for smaller -scale productions.

The new QL series consists of two models, the QL1 and QL5. The QL1 has 16 inputs and 8 exits in a 468mm wide chassis, while the QL5 has 32 inputs and 16 exits, measuring 828.4mm wide. The QL1 has 32 mono channels and eight stereo while the QL5 has 64 mono and 8 stereo.

QL consoles are ideal for small and medium -sized productions, although thanks to the Dante networks it is possible to integrate them into larger systems next to the Yamaha CL of Yamaha. Up to eight R series units can be controlled simultaneously by a QL console, offering up to 256 input sources.

Port to Port technology allows CL series consoles to access the QL consoles connections, thus allowing them to use external inputs/outputs.

This scheme allows you to create audio solutions very scalable. The self -management compensation that incorporates the QL series as well as the amplified input and output units of the R series allow one or more QL or CL consoles to share tickets without the levels of levels.

The self -zcation capacity that includes the QL series, makes these consoles a perfect option for Broadcast events and applications.
The incorporation of effects such as Rupert Neve Portico 5033 EQ and 5043 Compressor, as well as two mini-ygdai in expansion slots allow the QL series to add external processing and interact with other audio networks and formats.

Yamaha is also presenting in Frankfurt a QL version of the Stagemix iPad remote control application and an online/offline editor for Windows and Mac, QL editor.
