Broadcast Solutions conçoit et intègre le nouvel OB pour O2 République Tchèque

O2 Czech Republic will broadcast an important part of its national soccer league matches with the new S12T mobile unit, delivered by Solutions de diffusion.

The new mobile unit of O2 Czech Republic, the second one created by Solutions de diffusion for the Czech operator, belongs to the Streamline OB van family and operates with up to 12 HD cameras. As in the case of the first mobile unit, Broadcast Solutions has again collaborated with its Slovak partners Elektronika et IVC to build and deliver the S12T solution to the customer.

Broadcast Solutions has combined its Streamline concept with the customer’s specific needs. In this way, the workspaces have been redefined to accommodate a total of 14 technicians, something the integrator considers “unique” among mobile units the size of the S12T.

Integrator Broadcast Solutions has been offering the Streamline family of vans for several years, which has allowed them to turn the once complex and time-consuming development of an OB van into something akin to “mass production.” To support this approach, the company continuously stocks chassis and components for the assembly of these OB vans. All Streamline models are characterized by short delivery times and “significant cost advantages”, as is the case with this model.

Tech solutions in the S12T

O2 Czech Republic’s mobile unit can work with up to twelve cameras, ten of which are from the manufacturer Vallée de l'herbe. Other integrated solutions include the Grass Valley Kula 3 M/E mixer, SVE servers, the La leur mc256 sound board or Riedel MédiorNet (with 15 MicroN units) as a routing platform.

The installation is completed by talkback and intercom equipment from Riedel; Lawo’s VSM as overall control system; two video stage boxes, based on Riedel’s Compact Pro, and one audio stage box, based on Lawo’s Compact I/O.
