The Core - Atresmedia - Silvio González - Carlos Giménez

The Core Entertainment Science School (a project created by Planet Training and Universities) y Atresmedia have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting the training of professionals in the communication and entertainment industry.

Thanks to this agreement, The Core will offer two degrees in collaboration with Atresmedia (the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and the Degree in Journalism and Digital Communication) that will allow students the possibility of carry out internships within the communication group. In addition, Atresmedia will also actively participate in different master's programs, providing a team of teachers with extensive experience, working on the definition and development of content and providing, through program directors, “that knowledge and expertise that will allow young people to get closer to the professional world.”

The event in which this agreement was presented took place this Wednesday at the facilities of The Core, located in the largest audiovisual hub in Europe, Madrid Content City (Tres Cantos) and has had the participation of Silvio Gonzalez, CEO of Atresmedia and Carlos Gimenez, CEO of Planeta Formación y Universidades. For Gimenez, “this partnership between The Core and Atresmedia represents a turning point in the training of future media professionals in our country, since it brings professional reality closer to the classrooms in a unique way.” For its part, González He highlighted that, with this agreement, “Atresmedia reinforces its commitment to the audiovisual and entertainment industry in our country, helping to train the professionals of the future, based on our experience and leadership model.”

The agreement thus aims to continue promoting the future of professionals in the entertainment and media industry, which, according to PwC, will grow in our country by a 5.3% CAGR until reaching more than 31 million euros in 2025.
