Prism Mobile Backpack : la dernière solution 5G de Teradek fait ses débuts à l'IBC 2023

On display for the first time at the Teradek booth at CIB 2023 (September 15-18) will be Prism Mobile Backback, a 5G backpack ready to deliver coverage with resolutions up to 4K and HDR capabilities.

Le Teradek new Prism Mobile Backpack features the ability to deliver up to 6 simultaneous mobile connections over 5G and LTE networks. The system is based on the Teradek Prism Mobile 4K mobile encoder, which is reinforced with up to 4 Node 5G modems.

The solution, to be showcased at IBC 2023, has been designed for “global news gathering and live event coverage” in situations where WiFi is not available. The system is born with versatility as its foundation, as the system will allow modems, encoders and power to be swapped “at will” to prepare for any environment and type of coverage.

Other highlights of the Prism Mobile dongle include its ability to upload recordings from the field directly to camera-to-cloud platforms such as Frame.io, Sony C3P et Sony Ci, or the ability to monitor and distribute live streams from the Teradek Core Cloud platform.
