Blackmagic Design - DeckLink Mini Monitor HD - DeckLink Mini Recorder HD

Der Schwarze Magie portfolio continues to expand with two new PCIe capture and playback solutions: DeckLink Mini Monitor HD and DeckLink Mini Recorder HD.

Der DeckLink Mini Recorder HD Und DeckLink Mini Monitor HD allow capture and playback of uncompressed or compressed 10-bit quality images in standard definition or high definition. Both devices also support 10-bit YUV Und 12-bit 4:4:4:4 RGB signals for “exceptional clarity and stunning detail”. Replacing previous 1.5G SDI versions, additional features have been added, including support for 1080p60 Und DCI 2Kp60 maximum resolutions, wider colour spaces (including Rec. 2020) and RGB formats.

The new DeckLink Mini HD models are second-generation, low-profile PCIe x1 cards that are ready for installation in desktop PCs or rack-mounted servers with included adapters. They allow you to receive images from recorders, cameras and live sources, for the purpose of streaming them to monitors, projectors, media servers and other devices.

Der DeckLink Mini Recorder HD provides the opportunity to use any PCIe computer to capture professional quality images from 3G SDI or HDMI sources, in standard definition or high definition, in HDCAM, D5, SDCAM, Digital Betacam and other formats. It is also compatible with popular broadcast software such as OBS, allowing signals to be received from cameras or mixers and integrated directly into a live broadcast. The DeckLink Mini Monitor HD model can transmit 3G SDI and HDMI signals from PCIe computer equipment for direct playback to televisions, projectors and even switchers at up to 1080p60 resolution. The images are a perfect copy of the original with no loss of detail, giving you the best possible quality when monitoring recorded material. It is worth noting that this card supports the latest HDR formats and is therefore ideal when professional, colour-accurate monitoring is required at a cost-effective price.

Grant Petty, CEO of Blackmagic, highlights that the new DeckLink PCIe deliver “broadcast quality at a very low cost”. He also lists their key features: “We are excited to be able to add support for formats up to 1080p60 and 2K DCI to these new cards, as well as including support for advanced color spaces and HDR. They fit in almost any computer, even low profile server class computers which means that every editing station can monitor or capture in stunning broadcast quality at a very low cost!”
