Panasonic has announced at InfoComm the new Full HD 3D projector for home cinema, successor to the award-winning PT-AE4000. In this projector, Panasonic used a 2.35:1 aspect Cinemascope display format with its Lens Memory feature.

Now, it brings this viewing experience to 3D, offering a new level of home theater experience. Panasonic has developed complete 3D solutions ranging from professional 3D cameras for creating 3D content to 3D editing and encoding facilities (Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory), VIERA 3D TVs and Blu-ray players.

The new 3D home theater projector is part of Panasonic's 3D innovations and will include Panasonic's high image quality and original 3D applications that have already been used in the rest of its 3D product line. The new device has been developed in collaboration with engineers at Panasonic AVC Networks' Emotive Technology Development Center and Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, who have played a key role in establishing industrial 3D standards.
