New large-format high-definition professional monitors from Samsung

Samsung has added to its SMT range of TFT LCD screens two new 32″ and 40″ high definition models intended for professional environments and that consume 35% less than previous generations.

Samsung has added to its SMT range of environmentally friendly TFT LCD screens, two new 32″ and 40″ high definition models.

Like the 17″ and 19″ monitors, the SMT-3223 32″ and SMT-4023 40″ models have been designed specifically for use in professional security systems, with the aim of installers offering their customers a monitor solution at competitive prices without compromising quality and with the advantage of consuming around 35% less energy than previous generation monitors.

The screen resolution of the SMT-4023 model is 1920 x 1080 (1080p Full HD), while the SMT-3223 model has a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 (720p HD). These resolutions allow users to take full advantage of the latest generation of megapixel HD cameras such as Samsung models with WiseNetI and WiseNetII DSP chipsets.

Both models, with integrated speakers, offer BNC and DVI outputs, as well as 2 HDMI and have a fast response time of 8 ms. The multi-language on-screen menu ensures easy setup, while the various available brackets offer flexible mounting options. Wall, ceiling, and vertical mounts can be attached to the standard VESA mounting points found on the back of the displays, while additional SBM-320ST floor mounts allow both models to sit on your desk.
