Pereira cinematography integrates an SRX-R510 projector with 4K resolution and an average contrast ratio of 8000: 1.

The Circle of Fine Arts of Madrid (CBA), located in the emblematic building of Alcalá Street, has improved its cinema study with the integration of the 4K SRX-R510 projection system Sony Digital Cinema Thanks to Pereira cinematography installer.

The CBA is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to the field of creation and cultural diffusion and an international reference in the promotion of the most prominent and innovative artistic currents. In its more than 15,000 m2 of space in the center of Madrid, activities that range from plastic arts to literature take place, through science, philosophy, performing arts or cinema.

Since its opening in 1999, the cinema study of the Circle of Fine Arts has become one of the Madrid rooms par excellence of cinema in original version, with a capacity of 214 locations. With the aim of technologically updating the room and improving the projection quality, the CBA carried out the installation of the last 4K projection system of Sony Digital Cinema, the SRX-R510.

Those responsible for the Circle of Fine Arts have trusted Sony technology convinced by their realism, detail and wealth of the color that 4K offers and that allows access to more screening copies and billboard premieres.

Immediate results

The results of the installation of the SRX-R510 projector have been practically immediate, offering greater access to premieres that have increased the study of the study cinema and the satisfaction of the spectators. Manuel Asín, head of Programming of the Cinema Studio, acknowledges that "we are very happy with the first month of use of the Sony projector and even customers have congratulated us."

The Sony Digital Cinema SRX-R510 allows movie theaters such as the Cinema Studio offering bright quality 4K quality, as well as a high average contrast of 8000: 1 with low operational costs and a simple configuration.

Enrico Ferrari, regional sales director of Sony Digital Cinema for the South and Central Europe, has commented that “we are pleased to see that not only the most innovative exhibitors choose Sony, but also institutions that are part of the creative and cultural community such as the Circle of Fine Arts.
