Iconik highlights interoperability with Amazon web services for media management
Iconik's interoperability with AWS provides a seamless, fully cloud-based media management workflow, from ingest to storage.
The Swedish company Iconik has released the latest version of its media management center based on a hybrid architecture that offers interoperability with web services Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The Iconik interoperability with AWS provides a seamless, fully cloud-based media management workflow, from ingest to storage. At the same time, it is able to keep all that media well organized, making it easy to find the right versions, collaborate with other stakeholders, and distribute to multiple platforms.
Users will be able to host their media content within the service Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), being able to access, edit and share those same assets from within Iconik. Interoperability with AWS Elemental MediaConvert allows customers transcode Easily and reliably provide on-demand content for broadcast and distribution on multiple screens.
API integration with Amazon Rekognition It means that iconik can analyze assets and apply time-based metadata tags, based on the detail within that content, whether it's a specific element, environment, color, or representation of emotion.
Iconik also recently announced its new Versioning, which allows users to update the same assets simultaneously, while tracking update history and relevant media conversations. This feature allows users to streamline content editing and management, allowing users to effortlessly revert to previous versions.
Another new addition to Iconik is support for transcription. Users will be able to automatically transcribe assets, with the transcriptions stored in the asset, making them searchable and navigable at the timecode level.
