Secuoya Studios adds Jaime Gona, producer of 'Selfie' and 'The Europeans' to its team

Secuoya Studios reinforces its film area with the incorporation of Jaime Gona who joins with the aim of developing new film projects and continuing to expand this strategic division within the content studio.

With a solid career, Jaime Gona has developed his career as a producer promoting films recognized by critics and with outstanding national and international projection.

Among the most relevant works of the young producer are 'Los commensales' (Public Award in ZonaZine at the Malaga Festival), Selfie by Víctor García León (Critics Award at the Malaga Festival and extensive career in international festivals) and The Europeans, a co-production with France based on the novel of the same name by Rafael Azcona, which obtained several nominations at the Goya Awards and Feroz Awards, including best comedy film.

New releases will soon be added to these projects, such as hunting day, directed by Pedro Aguilera and starring Carmen Machi, Rossy de Palma and Blanca Portillo and Zoé Arnao; The teacher (Atresmedia Cine, Gonita and 4 Cats Pictures), second feature film by Daniel Castro starring Javier Gutiérrez; the documentary Carlos Saura: that boy in the photograph, directed by Anna Saura; and Ultraviolet, by Mamen Díaz (Violeta doesn't take the elevator) as screenwriter and director.
