Suma Content resurrects 'My Dear Miss' for Netflix

Netflix y Take Content They begin filming 'Mi Querida Señorita', a film directed by Fernando González Molina that is a free adaptation of the 1972 film of the same name starring José Luis López Vázquez and directed by Jaime de Armiñán.

Fernando González Molina (Baztan Trilogy, Palm trees in the snow), accompanied by Carlos Rigo to photography, directs the new adaptation, which writes Alana S. Porter, author of the novel The bad habit (Six Barral). Javier Calvo y Javier Ambrossi (The Messiah, Poison, Paquita Salas) produce the film through their production company Suma Content.

Filming, which began in Pamplona and will continue in different locations in Madrid, was on the agenda of Javier Ambrossi y Javier Calvo, as the creative duo has recognized, for a "long time": "When Netflix decided to do it with us, we thought about bringing together two people we admire: Alana S. Elisabeth Martinez He makes his screen debut playing the film's main character. Completing the cast is Anna Castillo (Nowhere), Paco León (No instructions), Nagore Aranburu (To want), River Birds (Breathe), Eneko Sagardoy (Patria), Lola Rodríguez (Welcome to Eden), María Galiana (Tell me how it happened) and Delphina Bianco. For Gonzalez Molina, having Martínez, an intersex actress, was key: "Finding Elisabeth has been one of the great challenges of the film and we are fascinated with her and her work. It is very exciting for me to begin this filming in Pamplona, the place where I was born and where we have located an important part of the film, in which in some way Alana and I also tell part of our story."
