ITV Studios Iberia hires Hugo Tomás as executive producer of programs

El ejecutivo español del mundo del entretenimiento Hugo Tomás ocupará el puesto de productor ejecutivo de programas no guionizados de ITV Studios Iberia, reportando directamente a la CEO de la productora Nathalie García.

En su nuevo puesto al que se incorporará el próximo 1 de septiembre, Tomás dirigirá la adaptación de los formatos de reality, factual, dating y game show de ITV Studios como Come Dine With Me, Love Island y The Chase. También desarrollará originales locales, en estrecha colaboración con el director creativo Miguel Vila.

Hugo Tomás se une a la compañía desde MediaCrest, where he has been Director of Entertainment for four years, overseeing productions such as The Chase from ITV Studio and Beat The Chasers for TVE, Mapi for TVE and The Floor for Antena 3. He also worked for Shine Iberia for four years directing the four seasons of MasterChef y MasterChef Junior outdoors, Masters of Sewing (based on The Great British Sewing Bee) y One, two, Chef! for Disney+.

With a career of 25 years in the world of entertainment, Hugo has incomparable experience in format adaptation, production and internationalization. He has played a decisive role in the success of large international franchises in Spain such as MasterChef, Temptation Island, The Great British Sewing Bee y Secret Millionaire, así como en el desarrollo de la propiedad intelectual local.
