Marc Vigil, one of the most prestigious directors on the national and Latin American audiovisual scene, rejoins the team of Globomedia (Mediapro) as director and executive producer of series.

Vigil will soon face the address of Malacca, a fiction that RTVE is already preparing in collaboration with Globomedia, to later embark on two new projects. Created by Daniel Corpas, Malacca is a police thriller set in Malaga, where a new drug triggers a war between gangs.

The renowned director thus returns to the production company where he has directed hits such as Vis a Vis, Red Eagle, 7 Lives y Aida.

Marc Vigil comes from directing the The Ministry of Time, work that has been interspersed with two series recorded in Mexico: the second installment of Holy Child for channel ONCE, and the adaptation of the famous novel by Xavier Velasco, Guardian Devil, for Amazon Prime.

The director has just entered the world of cinema with the filming of his first upcoming feature film: the adaptation of the novel The silence of the swamp, written by Carlos de Pando and Sara Antuña.

Marc Vigil joins the screenwriter Javier Olivares and to the director Fernando González Molina, both joined Globomedia as showrunners. The exclusive agreement with Daniel Écija for the development of series is another good example of Mediapro's commitment to quality fiction.
