Fujifilm - MicroSalón AEC 2021

Fujifilm will be present, one more edition, in the MicroSalon AEC 2021, organized by the Spanish Association of Directors of Photography, with its Premista, Cabrio ZK and MK series of cinema optics. In addition, visitors to the Fujifilm stand will also be able to learn in detail about the GFX100S large format digital camera and the X-T4 APS-C format camera.

The days December 10 and 11, 2021 in The Madrid Ship, visitors to the AEC 2021 MicroSalon will learn about, among other Fujifilm solutions, the lightweight wide-angle zoom ZK14-35mm T2.9. With a focal length spanning 14 to 35mm, thanks to the ZK series' detachable servo drive unit, the lens can operate in the same way as a traditional ENG-style lens and its accessories. Additionally, with the servo drive unit removed, all models in this series feature traditional manual or external cine motors for zoom and focus operation. Another device that shares the characteristics of servo drive and that will be present in the MicroSalon are the ZK4.7×19, a standard zoom lens with a commonly used focal length spanning 19 to 90mm; or the ZK85-300mm T2.9-4.0, a telephoto lens with a frequently used focal length ranging from 85 to 300 mm.

With an “industry-leading 12x” zoom ratio to cover the most commonly used 25mm wide angle to 300mm at the telephoto end, the device features advanced optical performance compatible with 4K cameras. Other lenses that Fujifilm will bring to the event are the Premista 19-45mm T2.9, a wide-angle zoom lens covering focal lengths from 19mm to 45mm with a constant 2.9mm T-stop and large diameter aspherical lens elements; he Premista 28-100mm T2.9, standard zoom lens covering a focal length of 28-100mm; the goal Premista 80-250mm T2.9-3.5, telephoto lens that covers a focal length of 80-250mm and can be combined with the Premista 28-100mm to form a kit that covers the most used focal lengths between 28mm and 250mm; he Fujinon MK18-55mm T2, which achieves high optical performance and low distortion with T2.9 speed throughout the zoom range; or the Fujinon MK50-135mm T2.9, which achieves high optical performance and low distortion with T2.9 speed throughout the zoom range.

The Fujifilm Spain team will also show its latest advances in terms of image capture through the Fujifilm GFX100s and the Fujifilm X-T4.

The GFX100s features a video mode with which filmmakers can create “naturally cinematic” footage and record movies 4K/30p detailed images with a shallow depth of field, wide tonal gradation and impressive ISO sensitivity in 10-bit Flog or 12-bit ProRes RAW. All of this is possible thanks to the X-Processor 4, which also provides a bit rate of up to 400 Mbps, the commonly used 17:9 aspect ratio and support for common compression codecs such as H.265 and H.264.

On the other hand, the Fujifilm X-T4 arrives with professional level video recording. Audiovisual content can be recorded to an external device via HDMI to 4K/60P 4:2:2 10 bits or internally 4K/60P 4:2:0 10 bits. Like the X-T3, the Additionally, MP4 can now be chosen in addition to the standard MOV video file format, expanding the places where the files can be used. Also available is the full selection of 19 film simulation modes, including Eternal, which digitally repeats Fujifilm's “legendary cinema film.”
