RTVCE modernizes its intercom system with Xplorer Max from AEQ
The Xplorer Max intercom system AEQ, a complete wireless system based on high-performance digital radio technology, lands in Radio Television Ceuta (RTVCE).
The new intercom system RTVCE comes with all the characteristics and intercom user panel functions, including four shortcut keys organized in up to 4 pages, two programmable keys additional and a multifunction display. Can work with any intercom matrix AEQ, like Conexia, Crossnet o TH5000. Likewise, it integrates with Xpeak, AEQ's matrix-less intercom system, or as a terminal for Party-Line's Easynet system.
The solution Xplorer Max supports up to 20 packs on the same antenna, con maximum range of 700 meters distance in open fields, and the option of linking up to 4 antennas in large deployments to further expand the coverage area or the number of packs deployed. This installation has been accompanied by a wide selection of intercom tools of AEQ: Matriz AEQ Crossnet 72, four 16-button rack panels AEQ TP8116, a 32-button rack panel AEQ TP8116 + EP8116, two 16-button desktop panels AEQ TP8416 and 4 units Phoenix Venus 4, integrated as IP codec (AoIP) and VoIP calls.
Ricardo Lacasa, technical chief of RTVCE, states that the system deployed by the AEQ team “seamlessly covers the interior of our facilities, measuring 800 square meters with numerous interior divisions, with a single antenna.” The renewal represents the leap that the company needed to continue consolidating advanced and intelligent communications: "Definitely, if there is something that has changed significantly in our channel from our origins in 2000 until now, it has been the immediacy of the news or event and the presence on the stage where they occur. This change implies a need for substantial improvement in communications. After replacing the old Kroma TM6000 analog matrix with the current AEQ CrossNET 72, the coordination between the different work points has changed radically, to the point that today it would be practically impossible to do without it.”
The entire RTVCE project has been managed by the technical services of the house in collaboration with Bernardo Saiz, commercial manager of AEQ for the area.
