Panasonic debuts camera control via PCs and tablets with Image Adjust Pro (Media Production Suite)
The new Image Adjust Pro plug-in for Panasonic’s Media Production Suite, which will be released in the first quarter of 2026, allows users to adjust the image settings of multiple studio and PTZ cameras with a computer or tablet.
Image Adjust Pro, Panasonic’s new software-based remote control panel, simplifies the management of image settings for Panasonic studio and PTZ cameras (AK-UCX100, AK-UC4000/UC4000B, AK-UC3300, AW-UE160, AW-UE150A and the multi-purpose AK-UBX100 camera). Integrated into the company’s Media Production Suite, users only need one licence to monitor the status and control up to 20 cameras simultaneously from a PC or tablet.
The image adjustment capabilities are the same as those of the AK-HRP1010 hardware ROP, allowing for flexible hybrid configurations. This means that frequently used main cameras can be controlled via a hardware ROP, while other units are managed with the plug-in, reducing the number of physical ROPs required without sacrificing image control accuracy. Furthermore, in IP-based systems, the plug-in and hardware ROPs can operate in parallel.
In addition to the PC on which the plug-in is installed, it can be accessed from various devices on the same network, such as laptops and tablets, enabling decentralised operation. The result, according to Panasonic, is a flexible and collaborative workflow that eliminates physical constraints and optimises operational efficiency.
Image Adjust Pro offers three different graphical user interface options for the control panel: a hardware-style design that mirrors the button layout of the AK-HRP1010; a graphical design that ‘resembles video editing software’; and a customisable user interface that displays only the essential controls. These options are suitable for both experienced ROP operators and users with limited experience, allowing for significant operational flexibility.
Panasonic will showcase its Media Production Suite platform and the new Image Adjust Pro add-on at ISE 2026, from 3 to 6 February, at Fira de Barcelona.
