AWS がクラウド環境向けに設計されたエンコーダーである Elemental Link UHD を発表
AWS Elemental Link UHD, the latest high-efficiency encoder from アマゾン ウェブ サービス, is now available.
AWS エレメンタルリンク UHD seeks to make it “simple and cost-effective” to connect a live Ultra High Definition (UHD) video source, such as a camera or other video production equipment, to AWS エレメンタルメディアライブ for video processing in the AWS Cloud. Beyond the basic functions that can accompany such an encoder, Link UHD is capable of creating HDR 10 and HLG channels, and “sending” them to MediaLive for content to be streamed.
All AWS エレメンタルリンク devices work with AWS エレメンタルメディアライブ, which is part of AWS.
SDI or HDMI sources
AWS エレメンタルリンク UHD, which features HEVCエンコーディング for transmissions up to 2160p at 60 fps with 10-bit color depth, has already been used by players such as GLO, Sherpa Digital, MediaKnit, Blaze Streaming Media, Streamly, ioio.tv そして Spiritland Productions.
Among its main strengths is its ease of implementation. Link UHD そして Link HD devices are shipped configured to the user’s AWS account, and can be remotely controlled and monitored via the MediaLive console. According to Amazon, users “simply connect the device to power, an IP network, and an SDI or HDMI video source, and the video is automatically accessible on the MediaLive console in less than a minute.”
