Zeisss が Ncam を買収: カメラの空間追跡 (XR、VP...)

のツァイス portfolio of solutions for the film, broadcast and visual effects industries grows with hybrid camera tracking technology from Ncam, a company acquired by the German developer.

Ncam’s hybrid camera tracking technology enables spatial camera tracking indoors and outdoors using different tracking methods. It does this through acquired tracking data, the backbone of virtual production solutions and XR environments, and a useful tool in post-production processes. Ncam was founded in 2012 and is based in London and Los Angeles.

Zeiss has defined this technology as an “excellent complement” to the ツァイス range of cinema products, consisting of solutions such as シュプリームプライム そして Supreme Prime Radiance lenses, Cinema Zoom and CP.3, or data-related services such as the CinCraft ecosystem. Zeiss plans to announce by the end of the summer ある first product that brings together the technology of both companies.

This is the assessment of the purchase by Christophe Casenave, head of the Zeiss cinema portfolio: “We are happy to be combining Ncam’s unique tracking technology with the Zeiss longstanding expertise in cinema lenses, lens data and the cinema market.
