Furio by Ross Video now compatible with the Chrosziel Magnum system
The Chrosziel Magnum lens control system becomes 100% compatible with Ross Video’s Furio robotic camera systems.
The Chrosziel Magnum LCS is a flexible lens control system that can be added to almost any lens, whether it is a broadcast lens that does not have full servo control, or a cinema lens that cannot otherwise be controlled from the Furio system. Featuring a compatible serial lens control interface, it allows full control of zoom, focus and iris from any Furio system for smooth and accurate preset recall.
Karen Walker, vice president of camera motion systems at Ross Video, welcomes the agreement, saying: “We’re delighted to offer our customers the flexibility and control provided by the Chrosziel system. This opens up many lens and camera options that were not previously available to our customers. We are committed to providing our customers with only the best and the Chrosziel system lives up to that expectation”.
On the other hand, Timm Stemann, CEO of Chrosziel, underlines the main benefits that users will achieve through this partnership: “Chrosziel looks forward to bringing Ross Furio users the freedom and creativity of using whatever lens and camera they choose to achieve their desired outcomes. The addition of our reliable, intuitive lens control technology to the proven Ross quality and workflow provides a winning combination for these customers”.
