Ross Video - NAB 2023

NAB 2023 (16-19 April) will host the exhibition and demonstration of dozens of solutions Ross Video, a company that is reserved for the fair novelties such as several families of LED screens or a new production mixer.

Ross Video, under the slogan “From idea to audience, let’s make it real”, will base its presence at NAB 2023 on new products that “enhance the capabilities and delivery of live video production workflows”, covering hyper-converged solutions, LED displays, XR graphics and cloud technology.

One of the company’s main focuses in Las Vegas will be the Ultrix hyper-converged platform, which through the new Ultrix FR12 combines 288×288 12G routing, audio processing, audio mixing, multiviewers, frame sync, production switchers and more in one configurable package. Similarly, Ross will showcase the latest developments in its Carbonite and Acuity production switchers, plus “a game-changing product set to be revealed during the show”.

Addressing the growing importance of extended reality graphics, Ross Video will also be conducting live demonstrations of new versions of XPression, XPression Tessera, XPression Maps and the Piero 3D sports analysis system during the show. Some of these solutions will be put to the test in an XR environment where Voyager will demonstrate how it can benefit from the latest developments in Unreal Engine 5, such as Nanite and Lumen technologies.

LED displays and cloud

In 2021, Ross acquired D3LED, adding core LED display technology to its portfolio. Building on that technology, Ross will launch two new families of LED displays, processing engines and remote power at NAB 2023. Visitors to the stand will be able to see displays in sports and live event applications, extended reality and digital signage. In parallel, the Canadian firm will put the spotlight on the Ross Production Cloud (RPC) product suite, which offers users to deploy a complete video production solution in public or private clouds.

Jeff Moore, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Ross Video, previews several key features of the company’s presence in Las Vegas: “This year will be our biggest footprint ever at NAB, spanning a show floor of 10,000 square feet and our largest ever showcase of new products and complete end-to-end solutions. From hyperconverged and cloud innovations to end-to-end LED solutions and XR graphics, our cutting-edge technology continues to shape the future of live production and transform the way content is created and shared around the world.”

Ross Video will raise the curtain on NAB 2023 with its now traditional keynote, which can be followed virtually at rossvideo.com/NABkeynote.
