GrandMA consoles on the U2 360º tour
The 360º tour of the legendary Irish band uses GrandMA consoles for total control of almost four hundred robotics.
A total of four GrandMA consoles from MA Lighting are being used in the spectacular 360º tour that U2 is presenting throughout Europe. A total of ten MA NSP signal processors are used to control the lighting. While some processors are used for mobile robotics, others are used for other DMX devices.
In total, almost two hundred PRG Bad Boys, 156 Martin Atomic Strobes, 8 BigLites 4.5, and 8 Novalight Nova-Flower 2Ks, among many other spectacular lighting equipment, are being used on the tour. The LED effects are controlled from a GrandMA Light, with two MA NSP processors, connected to a server in charge of assigning the millions of pixels that make up the enormous stage.
