Promax HD Explorer Field Meter

The new Promax high definition field meter allows you to measure HD signals in both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 with total reliability.

Promax has launched the HD Explorer field meter on the market, which allows viewing the images received in high definition, both in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 compression. Logically, the equipment can perform multiple measurements aimed at knowing the quantity and quality of the tuned high definition signal, such as power, LBER, constellation diagram, MER..., as well as the Link Margin and the dynamic Echo measurement.

The real novelty that is introduced is the possibility, thanks to its HDMI output, of viewing the image on a true HD screen as well as a TS (Transport Stream) input and output. Through these connections, the services present in the MPEG frame can be recognized and any of them can be selected to be displayed on the screen.

Of course, the HD Explorer has all the features that its predecessors have, from the automatic creation of the reports necessary to comply with ICT legislation to the free updates that are carried out periodically. In addition, it allows you to transfer all the accumulated information directly to a computer or save it on a memory stick through its USB port. Its weight is 2 Kg, and its battery offers up to four hours of autonomy.
