Avid helps its customers save costs in their writings

AVID announces a series of new solutions designed to help Broadcasters reduce costs and increase productivity associated with the news production process.

Web Services API INEWS: Simplify the news production workflows by offering Broadcasters the ability to integrate other brands such as a groupware or automation with the INEWS system to access and modify the content of the news.

Inews User Interface Improved: Accelerates customer workflows by simplifying navigation in the INEWS system. Customers can provide a video associated with a interplay production file management sequence directly at the INEWS workstation, create Hyperlinks in INEWS stories and standardize the entry of history data using drop -down lists and selection boxes.

Control of third -party graphics systems in INEWS Command: It provides customers with more choice and flexibility of graphic control as a result of compatibility with graphic systems of other brands such as Chyron, in addition to the AVID Deko graphic systems. Additionally, a graphics SDK/API allows any character generators developer, logos, tickers and applications of other brands to build plug-ins that increase the possibilities of their devices.

Unity ISIS 2.1 y AirSpeed Multi Stream 1.3

Mac OS X customer support with Snow Leopard in Unity ISIS: It offers customers support for the latest version of the Mac OS X operating system.

Airspeed multi stream dnxhd support: Equipa customers with fast and high quality intake support for an HD workflow from beginning to end in a single structure. The new Airspeed Multi Storam server now supports the intake and video reproduction AVID DNXHD 185 and 220 10-bit HD, and bend the number of video streams AVID DNXHD 120 and 145 8-bit HD with respect to previous generations of Airspeed Multi Stream.
