With FlipFactory embedded in the DIVArchive Actor, any media outlet can configure custom rules for content transcoding, speeding up and facilitating automated workflow. For example, a broadcaster could direct DIVArchive to process all content that is being archived in high resolution and simultaneously copy and encode it into a low-resolution proxy format accessible via Web browser to users on any workstation. Similarly, content from a particular editing system can be automatically formatted for output and then prepared for storage in a DIVArchive environment. This type of workflow makes it faster and easier to reuse content across multiple distribution channels, including web streaming and mobile devices.
