TV3 launches the 'La Marató' application for iPhone and Android

The service that Sixtemia, Televisió de Catalunya and CCRTV Interactiva have developed for the TV3 solidarity program will also allow, in the iPhone version, to follow the live broadcast of the nineteenth edition of La Marató, which this year is dedicated to the fight against acquired spinal and brain injuries.

Users who do not have an iPhone or Android can also make donations to The Marathon through any mobile phone with an internet connection, from the page m.tv3.cat/marato. This page will be operational throughout the year, but mobile donations will be available only until January 1, 2011. They are thus added to the traditional means of collecting donations, such as the internet, Servicaixa, bank transfers or calls to 905 11 50 50 (during December 19, the day of La Marató).

Por otro lado, el 19 de diciembre los espectadores podrán participar en directo en el programa a través del móvil enviando un SMS con su comentario al 27033, con el texto MARATO. comentario. El estreno de las versiones iPhone y Android de la aplicación, ya disponibles en iTunes Store y en Android Market, subrayan el compromiso de Televisió de Catalunya por poner sus servicios al alcance de todos los espectadores y también por estar presente en los nuevos soportes multimedia. La aplicación TV3 en directe, disponible para iPhone, suma, desde su estreno el mes de abril, más de 170.000 descargas. Entre las otras aplicaciones que TV3 ha estrenado para teléfonos inteligentes, destaca la del juego de The great dictation para iPhone, que cuenta con más de 17.000 descargas, o la de TV3 per a l’iPad, que permite ver la señal en directo del canal internacional de Televisió de Catalunya y el 3/24, además de acceder a los vídeos bajo demanda del 3alacarta. Más de 15.000 personas disponen ya de este servicio.
