Nevion will present its VS902 IP video transport platform at IBC

At IBC 2011, Nevion will present its new VS902 IP video transport platform, designed to open new paths in flexibility and protection of video services over IP.

The speed, processing power and level of integration of Nevion VS902 creates a video over IP solution that significantly reduces capital and operational expenses.

This high-density, low-cost platform can allocate up to four channels of HD, SD, or ASI over GigE or 10 GigE, either as uncompressed video or compressed JPEG2000, and protected with FEC, Nevion SIPS, or unprotected.

The company will also introduce improvements to its VideoIPath managed video services platform, such as a new MVPN control infrastructure.
