Christie announces 4K resolution upgrade program for its Christie Series 2 projectors

Christie It now has a new Christie 4K resolution upgrade kit (4096 x 2160). Immediately applicable to the popular Christie CP2230, this upgrade kit turns a 2K Christie projector into a powerful 4K high-resolution device. By quadrupling the resolution, the upgrade also offers an increase in image detail.

Quick and easy to install, this kit gives exhibitors the ability to transfer any 4K content to the screen without changing projectors, thus optimizing their investment for the future.

Available to all current and future Christie partners and vendors, Christie technicians or Christie-qualified digital cinema vendors are responsible for implementing the enhancement.
