Christie begins marketing the CP2320-RGB and CP2315-RGB projectors, the 2K versions of the Christie RealLaser family

Small screen rooms will thus be able to benefit from economical RGB laser solutions as successors to laser lamp and phosphor projectors.

With an eye on the 2018 edition of CineAsia, Christie has started shipping its projectors láser puro Christie CP2320-RGB y CP2315-RGB. Christie is the official screening partner of the event, which will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC) from December 10 to 13, 2018.

Dale Miller, executive vice president of cinema at Christie, notes that "the 2K models in the Christie RealLaser product portfolio are the perfect successors to the lamp and laser phosphor projectors. With the launch of these new models, which are now in mass production and shipping and round out the successful debut earlier this year of the Christie CP4325-RGB 4K model, the RealLaser line of projectors takes another step forward in the advancement of cinema exhibition."

Brian Claypool, vice president of Product Management for Cinema at Christie, comments that “combining 2K resolution, an expanded color gamut and contrast ratios that far exceed DCI specifications, the CP2315-RGB/CP2320-RGB models keep pace with advances in the field of cinematic content, revealing a new and unprecedented depth of detail.”

“Add to that high frame rate (HFR) capabilities and a contrast ratio reaching 3000:1, and the CP2315-RGB/CP2320-RGB projectors represent a new milestone in commercial film exhibition,” he added.
