Informática El Corte Inglés and Inves bring together their digital signage solutions at Total Media

Inves and Informática El Corte Inglés have attended the fourth edition of Total Media to present their latest technological solutions for the digital signage and digital signage market.

Inves e IT El Corte Inglés have configured a comprehensive solution that includes hardware and communications infrastructure, the development of digital content and the software for its management and professional services, such as consulting to be able to offer a complete range of cutting-edge solutions, adapted to each type of business. Thus, jointly, they offer the market projects from start to finish, which include everything from devices, adapted to the specific particularities of the environment, to a content manager, through the technical resources of the El Corte Inglés Computer Expert Center and all the necessary communications infrastructure.

“Although digital signage emerged as a promotional medium, today it is applied in areas as diverse as training and information for employees, passengers, room and shift management, signage and much more, which allows its use to be extended to various sectors,” says Inves Technology Director, Javier García-Madrid. A differential and specific characteristic of the digital signage equipment of this computer equipment manufacturer is its design and manufacturing by Invesgenia, the custom projects division of Investrónica that, under the motto “Ingenia with Inves”, offers organizations, both public and private, completely personalized devices, even in short series.

There are three strategic digital signage solutions that Informática El Corte Inglés and Inves present at Total Media and that incorporate the Intel VPRO system: Inves Dintro Atrilia, Inves Dintro Dintalia Dual and Inves Dintro Evolution H3.

The first is the new platform designed by Inves that applies new dynamic digital signage technologies. It incorporates a 47" panoramic touch screen in a horizontal layout and a control player from the Inves range. The chassis is made of metal, without visible front screws and is fully customizable with the logos and corporate identity desired. It is, in essence, an information point, with various applications (catalogs, advertising messages or temporary notices, promotions, etc.) that can be navigated with great ease.

For its part, Inves Dintro Dintalia Dual includes, in addition to the characteristics of digital signage, a specific dynamic signage application. It incorporates a double 43" super panoramic screen for horizontal reading and an Inves control player. The chassis is made of metal, without visible front screws and is attached to the ceiling using the supplied support. It can also be customized with color, logo or corporate identity. The dimensions of its chassis are 1086.60 mm wide x 291.60 mm high and 168.70 mm deep.

Finally, Inves Dintro Evolution H3 is a totem with three 46" super-thin frame monitors with high brightness and horizontal reading. The system allows the transmission of images in high resolution and in real size. It includes an integrated VPRO player, SSD hard drive and Ethernet, Wi-Fi or fiber connection. It has a modern and stylized design, is fully customizable with the appropriate logos and corporate identity and can be used double-sided.

Cloud content management

On the other hand, Informática El Corte Inglés has announced that it is working on a new solution for the management of digital signage content under the modality of cloud computing and pay per use, which will be launched in the coming months. The system is based on the Deneva 4 content management platform and has the technological support of Icon Multimedia.

This cloud solution will allow companies in any sector to implement their digital signage strategies immediately, without complications and with a minimum investment. With this Cloud platform you can access a digital signage content manager in SaaS mode using a PC and a browser, initiating the registration and download procedure on your devices. The integration of the cloud solution with the digital signage infrastructure will be immediate.

The solution will be accessible via ADSL, and will be hosted in the company's central CPD. Informática El Corte Inglés will take care of its evolution and all the hardware infrastructure that its operation demands, as well as its maintenance, monitoring, and backup and continuity tasks necessary to ensure the service.

The use of the solution will be carried out through the public cloud, with all security guarantees. Clients, with their password, will automatically access a stable and simple content management platform, with which they can easily configure content and grids for the different viewing devices, scheduling their broadcast, which will be stored on the server and then downloaded to the broadcast devices.
An important feature of the solution is the online capability it provides to the client, being able to quickly generate and disseminate new content. The display devices themselves periodically connect to the Informática El Corte Inglés server to check if they are scheduled to broadcast new content.

Hassle-free digital signage

The digital signage content management platform on which this new Cloud proposal from Informática El Corte Inglés will be supported in an adapted way, is a professional, web and multi-user solution, which allows the agile location and management of its components, offering advanced features for the management of different channels (multimedia, Bluetooth, Audio, etc.) and facilitating the management of all the elements of the digital signage infrastructure of an organization.
