THE BOE publishes the granting of aid under the Avanza program and subprogram corresponding to the 2011 call for a total of 59.67 million euros.

The State Secretariat for Telecommunications and the Information Society (SETSI), dependent on the Ministry of Industry, has granted aid under the Avanza program and subprogram corresponding to the 2011 call for a total of 59.67 million euros.

As stated this Thursday in the Official State Gazette (BOE), SETSI has granted aid under the Advance New Telecommunications Infrastructure Program for a total amount of 31,697 million euros.

The programs that have been granted aid under this program and whose implementation takes place in Andalusia, Asturias, the Canary Islands, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura, Galicia and Murcia, are co-financed for 70% of the costs by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Likewise, under the Avanza Training Subprogram, Setsi has granted aid for 25,513 million euros. These aids are co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Pluriregional Adaptability and Employment Operational Program 2007-2013. Specifically, the degree of co-financing is 80% when the projects and actions are carried out in regions included in the convergence objective or in regions that may qualify for transitional aid and 50%, when they are carried out in regions included in the Competitiveness and Employment Objective.
