Autoscript launches Magno, a pedal for wireless prompter control

Autoscript, a Vitec Videocom company, will present at NAB 2012 a new wireless foot pedal for prompter control and a range of accessories and applications for Apple i-Series devices, including voice-activated prompters.

Autoscript has introduced the MagnoWireless foot control that allows presenters to control the reading speed on the prompter without the need for wiring. Using radio frequency at 400 MHz, this foot control promises not to interfere with other devices and can be used at distances of up to 100 meters to the receiving module. MagnoWireless can be seamlessly added to existing Autoscript installations.

Another wireless device that will be shown at NAB is the Smart Combiner Wireless receiver. As the need for wireless controls grows, this receiver allows up to four separate wireless controls to be used in a single studio. If necessary, several systems can be combined to increase the number of controls.

Autoscript will also showcase a new professional app for iPod, iPad and iPod Touch, developed in conjunction with Teleprompting Techniques. PicoPrompt is available through the App Store, along with Picoscroll, a free scrolling app. Autoscript will also offer a scroll control and connector for the i-Series range.

On the other hand, we must also highlight the update of Autosrcipt's WinPlus software. This new version allows you to select and send individual stories or complete them from the studio to a journalist or from any i-Series device anywhere in the world.
