Autoscript presents WC-IP, its new wireless control for teleprompter

Autoscript throw the wireless teleprompter scroll controlo WC-IP, a new update to the company's first-generation wireless scroller. Easy to use, the WC-IP is designed to allow journalists move around the studio with complete freedom as they play their text on the teleprompter.

The WC-IP offers a compact and ergonomic design that sits discreetly in the palm of your hand, with a forward/backward joystick that allows intuitive scrolling of text. The controller features three navigation buttons and two programmable function buttons giving the presenter even more control options. All buttons are managed within Autoscript's WinPlus-IP software and can be enabled, disabled or assigned as required.

The WC-IP can be quickly configured and paired with the Autoscript WB-IP base station within WinPlus-IP, which also provides connection status and monitoring of the control's long-lasting built-in battery. The controller features a discreet LED battery status display, which can be easily recharged using a standard USB-C cable.

Each WC-IP connects to a single WB-IP base station and will maintain the connection up to 100 meters away, ensuring that even the largest productions and most mobile on-screen talent enjoy smooth, uninterrupted scrolling of the prompter script at all times.
