Autoscript's new proposal fully integrates an on-air monitor and prompter.

Autoscript Epic

Autoscript, a brand of the Vitec group, will show at IBC 2014 its new Epic 17 teleprompter, the first system in the world that fully integrates on-air and prompter.

It has a high-brightness 17″ LED screen combined with an integrated 17″ full HD-SDI on-air monitor that provides flexibility and versatility to studio operations.

The system eliminates the need for additional mounting brackets and therefore ensures that operators can use the full tilt range of the camera.

Epic 17 is efficient in energy consumption since it saves 20% compared to other solutions and is three kilos lighter.
Autoscript ensures that the screen of this prompter can have a life of 70,000 hours. In addition, both the prompter and the monitor use the same cable, facilitating their use in the studio.

Autoscript will also showcase its WinPlus Remote solution, a teleprompter system designed for use anywhere with iOS devices. This system, in addition to being used in street productions, is also designed for small newsrooms and studios. When WinPlus Remote is installed on a networked PC within a production facility, both reporters in the field and those in the studio can view the most recent version of the script. The software makes it possible to automatically upload content to an FTP site where it can be constantly updated and downloaded by any user with access privileges wherever they are. WinPlus Remote works in conjunction with picoPrompt, an iOS app, and is offered with a manual control to enable scrolling on mobile devices.
