Sony has announced that it has just surpassed the milestone of 10,000 units sold for its range of TRIMASTER EL OLED monitors, of which approximately 2,000 were sold in Europe last year. Since their launch on the market, Sony OLED monitors have received an excellent reception from the broadcast industry, which has valued their image quality and high functionality.
Sony offers a broad portfolio of OLED products that includes seven models belonging to the BVM-E, BVM-F and PVM series. The wide range of TRIMASTER EL OLED monitors for broadcast and post-production has allowed the company to respond to a wide range of customer needs and make the most advanced technology available to a larger audience.
All Sony OLED displays incorporate TRIMASTER EL technology as standard, which represents superior processing capacity to extract the best essences of OLED technology. Its processor is designed to make the most of the monitor's potential; It represents deep black tones with high dynamic range and reproduces extraordinarily faithful images, with motion without blur and a wide range of colors, which translates into visual quality superior to that of tube and LCD monitors.
Daniel Dubreuil, Senior Product Specialist at Sony Europe, maintains that "OLED technology has become the dominant technology in display and Sony's position in this market demonstrates our ability to offer innovation at an affordable price. We have recorded exceptional sales (especially in Germany, France and the United Kingdom) which demonstrate the enormous interest of the industry in this technology. We offer the most extensive range of OLED TRIMASTER EL products and we are determined to continue developing our presence in this segment."
