Panasonic takes another step towards smart TV with the “Swipe and Share” application
Panasonic has now created the concept “Swipe and Share: Launch. Share. Enjoy”, an application for smartphones and tablets that allows you to transfer a photo, music file, video or web page from a tablet or smartphone to the TV with a single finger.
From “dumb” box to “smart” box. This is the evolution that the television has experienced in recent years and that has resulted in the Smart TV concept. For Panasonic This concept goes further: “Smart Viera” are smart televisions that offer the widest range of connectivity. Televisions designed to enjoy multimedia files on the big screen, download applications, browse the Internet, chat, tweet and more, all comfortably from the sofa.
The “Smart Viera” concept, in addition to bringing together the characteristics of a connected television, is also synonymous with “quality.” The new 2012 range features more LED models of larger sizes, up to 55 inches.
Great sharpness
They are new televisions that break sharpness records by being capable of offering up to 1600Hz and a viewing angle of 178º that guarantees intense colors, high contrast and greater depth in black levels from any position. As state-of-the-art televisions, they allow the reproduction of images in three dimensions and the possibility of converting from 2D to 3D.
Another aspect that places Panasonic's Smart Viera LED range at the forefront of next-generation televisions is the connectivity options. They have built-in Wi-Fi to connect DLNA devices at home and, thus, be able to view the content of the television, for example on a PC. They are also equipped with SD card inputs, HDMI and USB ports.
They are also environmentally friendly televisions and therefore have new liquid crystal materials that achieve 10% more efficiency in LED backlighting and reduce energy consumption by 25%.
