Promax will exhibit its sixth generation of analyzers at IBC

Promax will show in Amsterdam Ranger+, an ultra-fast spectrum analyzer that covers DVB-T/C/S standards as well as DVB-T2/C2/S2, which allows viewing several simultaneous screens in split screen mode.

Promax, as a manufacturer of test and measurement systems and equipment for broadcasting and distribution of television signals, will show at IBC 2012 its latest developments in measurement instruments for cable TV, satellite TV, broadcasting, fiber optic and wireless networks and analyzers for FTTH and GPON. Among the company's latest developments are DVB-T modulators, IP streamers or IP converters (ASI, DVB-T).

In Amsterdam we will be able to see the advantages of the sixth generation of HD Ranger+ TV and satellite analyzers. It is an ultra-fast spectrum analyzer that covers DVB-T/C/S as well as DVB-T2/C2/S2 standards and allows you to display several simultaneous screens in split screen mode. In addition, it includes a Dolby Digital Plus audio decoder.

TV Explorer HD+

The popular Tv Explorer HD+ field meter, which includes all the features required for HDTV and incorporates a Dolby Digital Plus decoder and full compatibility (measurements and image demodulation) with DVB-T2 (second generation digital terrestrial television), now also offers options for DVB-C2 and an optical module.

In a device that weighs just two kilos, TV Explorer HD+ includes an MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 H.264 video decoder and Dolby Digital Plus, AAC, MPEG-2 and MPEG-1 audio; supporting SD and HD in 1080i, 720p and 576i resolutions and 16:9 and 4:3 screen formats. With an HDMI interface and TS-ASI input/output, it incorporates a CAM (Conditional Access) module for encrypted channels.

Other solutions that Promax will exhibit at IBC 2012 are Digital to TV, a system that allows the distribution of television programs from different sources in DTT or IPTV formats; and the DVB-T2 and ISDB-T MO-470 and MO-370 modulators for test, TV signal distribution and broadcasting applications.
