New high definition modulator from Promax

Promax expands the possibilities of the DTTV headend with the new DT-511 module for high definition signals.

At a time when demand for solutions to modulate HD signals is growing, Promax expands the possibilities of the DTTV headend with the new DT-511 module for high definition signals.

The DT-511 module has two switchable HDMI inputs that accept any high definition video source.

The available outputs are:

• DVB-T: COFDM modulated output for radio frequency distributions (the DT-511 incorporates an internal modulator).
• IP to inject directly into IP installations.
• ASI to multiplex this signal with other ASI signals to generate the Multiplex.

By adding the new DT-511 HD module to the DTTV headend, any input signal format can be managed to modulate it in DTT, IP or ASI and distribute it by cable, fiber optics or even retransmit it.
