Datafactory renews the ESPN Guide
This new service represents a change in the way in which a user obtains general information about the contents of a signal.
Datafactory has developed together with ESPN Argentina a completely redesigned site, with complete and detailed information on all the programming of each of the signal's platforms, in 8 South American countries.
The project was carried out through a permanent interaction between ESPN Argentina and Datafactory. A high degree of reciprocity was achieved between both parties thanks to an interface through which the progress of the product can be checked and constant feedback can be achieved.
This new service represents a change in the way in which a user obtains general information about the contents of a signal. The user can browse the website, learn about the content of the various platforms in each region and consult the featured programming by country according to the preferences and interests of each area. Full access to featured broadcasts is intertwined with the ability to publish and interact on social networks and via email.
Another novel aspect of this product is the use of a “Content Manager System”, through which ESPN has the possibility of editing each of the publications made in the Guide online.
Ernesto Cambursano, CEO of DataFactory, commented in relation to the usefulness of this work that "the client has the unique possibility of prioritizing what he needs according to the facts imposed by reality. In this case, ESPN defines the programming highlights and possible changes in the sports agenda (for example, tennis tournaments, which vary constantly). In this way, the end user can be informed, in real time, about last-minute programming updates."
