BRB attends NATPE 2013 with 'Invizimals', the first series that incorporates augmented reality techniques
BRB comes with two important novelties: 'Invizimals', based on a successful video game saga by Sony Computer Entertainment, and 'Mica', a series co-produced by Plural Entertainment and Screen 21 made in 3D animation.
International BRB goes to NATPE this week, in Miami (USA), with an extensive catalog headed by some of his latest productions such as Invizimals o Mica. The company will attend the aforementioned audiovisual market, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, under the umbrella “Audiovisual from Spain” organized by FAPAE (confederation of Spanish film and television companies) in collaboration with the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade.
Invizimals (26×30′), based on a successful video game saga from Sony Computer Entertainment, stands out for being the first television series to incorporate augmented reality techniques. Aimed at a target of 6 to 10 years old and co-produced by Screen 21 and Sony Computer Entertainment, it tells the adventures of powerful creatures that inhabit our world, although in another dimension.
On the other hand, the series Mica (26×15′), part of an educational project by Editorial Santillana with a growing presence throughout Latin America and is co-produced by Plural Entertainment and Screen 21. Made in 3D animation and aimed at a target of 3 to 6 years old, it revolves around a famous character who is not a superhero, nor does he know everything... Mica is a real girl!
Emilie Pasquet, sales executive at BRB International, comments regarding the next edition of NATPE: "We have high expectations in this market, given our close relationship with Latin America and the United States in addition to our strength in the digital and interactive field. And we hope to close important agreements related to both our latest productions and the rest of our catalog, which includes productions of the caliber of Canimals, Zoobabu, Khuda-Yana….. o Bernard”.
