Samsung Smart TV, Blu-ray and Home Cinema users will have access to TotalChannel

The new App for the live television and content recording (nPVR) platform, TotalChannel, is now available on the Samsung Smart Hub, ready for download.

The new application of TotalChannel, which offers 12 live channels in high definition, “catch-up” programs (deferred on demand) and the ability to record and store on each user's virtual hard drive any content that is broadcast in the next seven days, is now available on Samsung Smart TVs.

In this way, without decoders or other recording devices, all Samsung Smart TV, Blu-ray and Home Cinema users have access to the platform's content through a monthly and non-permanent subscription.

The new app can be tested for free for 2 and a half hours. In this way, the user can check the image quality it offers as well as its ease of use.

The user can choose between watching their favorite series live or recording the episode or the entire season automatically on their virtual hard drive in the cloud to watch them whenever they decide based on the contracted package.

To access the wide variety of content that TotalChannel offers, you only need to have a broadband connection via Ethernet or WiFi. With a bandwidth greater than 1.5 Mbps you have access to all the entertainment offered by the platform. If the connection exceeds 3Mb, the user receives the image and sound quality offered by high definition (HD) with which most content is broadcast.

Access to the platform only requires registering and using any of the available apps to access the service.
