'Pacific Rim', the secrets of its grading with colorist Maxine Gervais

On July 31 in Los Angeles, FilmLight, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Imaging and RED are organizing a meeting in which all the details of the finishing of Guillermo del Toro's latest film will be shared.

FilmLight, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Imaging and RED are organizing a meeting with colorist Maxine Gervais on July 31 (6 p.m. at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles) for an exclusive presentation in which details of the grading and finishing of the film will be shown. Pacific Rim, the new science fiction work by Guillermo del Toro.

At this event there will be a screening of scenes from the film and a demonstration of the creative work in its post-production.

At the border between color correction and visual effects, Maxine will reveal how she and her team at Warner Bros. Motion Picture collaborated with Guillermo del Toro and director of photography Guillermo Navarro to achieve an impeccable result using Filmlight's Baselight finishing system using material from the RED Epic 5K.

The co-founder of RED, Ted Schilowitz, will also participate in this event.
