Yamaha appoints partners for the Nuage system in Europe
Coinciding with the installation of the first Nuage system in a post-production studio in Belgium, Yamaha Commercial Audio has announced the appointment of several Nuage partners/distributors across Europe.

Yamaha Commercial Audio has announced the appointment of several Nuage partners/distributors across Europe. All partners offer comprehensive service capabilities, from in-house Nuage pre-sales demos to system installation services, training and technical support, to ensure Nuage customers get the most out of the system across all their projects.
Nuage distributors have so far been appointed for Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Lithuania, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
The unique combination of Yamaha's modular control and interface hardware with Steinberg's innovative Nuendo 6 software produced on the Nuage system has brought new flexibility to post-production systems.
“Nuage takes seamless workflow integration to a new level, bringing together processes that require a large number of devices, connections and interfaces into traditional systems,” says Thomas Römann, Technical Director at Hamburg-based audio company Digital Audio Service. “For us, Nuage is the epitome of modern post-production workflow and we are proud to offer it as one of the most up-to-date systems available on the market today.”
Amptec Professional Sound Solutions, based in Diepenbeek, Belgium, was the first Nuage partner to provide a complete system, with installation currently underway. The client is Temple of Tune, one of the country's leading post-production studios offering recording and sound design services for film, television, radio and commercials.
“We have a lot of experience in Yamaha hardware and consoles, the Dante network and Nuendo software, so we were very curious about what Nuage would bring to the post-processing sector,” says Harald Vanherf, sales director at Amptec, Belgium. “We are delighted to offer this excellent solution to our customers, backed by the support and technical service they have come to expect from us.”
In France, the appointment of 44.1 as a Nuage partner is the natural evolution of a long-standing working relationship with Yamaha.
“We have always worked closely with Yamaha to offer systems integration and sales with high added value,” says Paul-Henri Wagner, CEO of 44.1. "Nuage is particularly interesting because it offers a flexible and modular alternative. It can easily interface with other audio devices such as mixing consoles for live or broadcast sound, and offers a professional and ergonomic solution that adapts to budgets ranging from 15,000 to 60,000 euros, thus being accessible to a much larger customer base than other professional post-production systems."
Scrub and Mediaspec, based in London and Scotland respectively, have been named Nuage partners in the UK. Scrub Sales Director Ben Scully comments, "Nuage is a customizable audio production system that offers some very interesting features. We have been very impressed with the design and flexibility of the system and think it is a solution that meets the needs of the audio post-production community."
