Four years after its launch, Christie MicroTiles continues to seduce all types of audiences with its high-resolution, high-brightness displays that infuse digital content with great realism thanks to the richness and vividness of its chromaticism. Now, with its new display option, the Christie MicroTiles S310, Christie takes another step on the path to virtually gap-free video walls.

With optical and construction characteristics identical to those of the S300 display, the new Christie MicroTiles S310 is slightly larger and offers separations of 0.7 millimeters (compared to 1.3 millimeters for the S300). The thermal spectrum in which the S310 operates ranges between 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit) and 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit). Like the S300 display option, the Christie MicroTiles S310 offers excellent contrast, with greater black depth and display uniformity even in the most complex high ambient lighting environments such as audiovisual sets.

Richard Heslett, Senior Product Manager at Christie, admits that “with a virtual absence of visible divisions, the new Christie MicroTiles S310 display offers a viewing experience that is even closer to real life, also creating a more natural touch interface even when the Christie MicroTiles is combined with the Christie Interactivity Kit. For applications such as broadcast sets, control rooms, flagship lobbies or corporate or in-store signage, where minimal divisions are required, the Christie MicroTiles S310 display is drawn as the most obvious option.”
