Luís María Ferrández concludes the filming of this documentary in which leading professionals in the sector stand in front of the cameras to discuss and analyze the deep crisis that cinema is experiencing.

The wounded screen

Just finished filming The wounded screen, a documentary film directed by Luís María Ferrández, which has managed to bring together for the first time in different colloquiums the most relevant and influential figures of Spanish cinema.

Producers, directors, actors, distributors and exhibitors, as well as representatives of national entities and administrations such as the Ministry of Culture, SGAE, FAPAE, Film Academy..., stand in front of the cameras to discuss and analyze the deep crisis that cinema is currently experiencing and what are the trends by which the new professional and industrial model of audiovisual in Spain can or should be developed.

The wounded screen It is a direct, incisive and crucial look at the current crisis in the financing, production, distribution and exhibition model of Spanish cinema, without any censorship.

The feature film is produced by Luís María (Producciones Embrujadas), and Belén Bernuy (Centuria Films), executive producer in addition to the project.

The documentary is already in the editing and post-production phase, and will premiere in the spring of 2014, coinciding with the next Malaga Festival.
